Water Quality Funding Opportunities 2019 – 2020 (Lyd & Gara)

Our Channel Payments for Ecosystem Services (CPES) project has now moved from its initial research and development phase to a delivery focus.
We are now able to target key activities that we feel are most appropriate to our two pilot areas; Devon rivers Lyd (including Roadford Lake) and Gara.
In the River Gara, initial small capital grants are being contracted for imminent work.
In the River Lyd, we are holding an information event for farmers on 25 September where we will introduce the next steps of the project and explain how farmers and landowners can get involved and tap into potential investment in this area.
Both areas will operate schemes this autumn as part of our CPES project, which works towards achieving improvements in water quality and delivering wider benefits.
Come along to our information evening on 25 September at Lifton Community Centre to find out more.
